Meet the Team
Andy George
CEO
Andy has been involved in political campaigns at every level for the past 15 years, providing hands-on strategy and analysis to political and business leaders. For the past six election cycles, he has managed multi-million-dollar campaigns and independent expenditures efforts for clients across the country.
Recently, Andy has been in a consulting role managing multi-faceted, multi-million-dollar mail projects for clients such as the Republican National Committee and outside projects for Gubernatorial and multiple U.S. Senate campaigns.
Andy was born in Kentucky and spent his formative years in South Carolina where he started his political career volunteering on local races. In 2002, Andy moved to Colorado where he met his wife, Rachel, they currently live outside of Denver.
Luke Marchant
Creative Director
Luke Marchant has more than 20 years of political campaign, public relations, and government service experience. From supporting Fortune 5 companies to running local, state and federal campaigns across the country, he has a diverse background that allows him to understand different audiences and help clients create the best content to tell their story.
For over 14 years, Luke was moving from campaign to campaign, splitting his time between both political and government engagements growing a knowledge and understanding. Working for US Senators John Cornyn and Marco Rubio, US Congressman Pete Olson, Governor Greg Abbott and many more. Along the way, Marchant picked up several awards, specifically for his mail and branding, from the 2014 Best of the Best at the AAPC Pollies to MavPAC 40 under 40.
He is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma City, and lives in Dallas, TX, with his wife and two children.
Joe Pounder
Senior Advisor
Joe Pounder founded Bullpen Strategy Group in 2019 after starting several successful communications and research groups, including America Rising Corp. in the United States. Since founding BSG, he has helped lead the firm’s expansion doing work across the United States and having a UK operation. Most recently, he served as a senior advisor for Sen. Marco Rubio’s presidential campaign.
In 2014, Pounder was named by Campaigns & Elections as one of their Top 50 Influencers and The Washingtonian called him the “Troublemaker” for the firm’s research success in the election cycle. In 2012, he served as the Research Director and Deputy Communications Director at the Republican National Committee. While managing the $3.5 million, 27-person operation, he was named by GQ Magazine as one of the 50 most powerful people in Washington and as one of people who will be running Washington in 2013 by BuzzFeed. Before that, Pounder served as Deputy Campaign Manager for Marco Rubio’s successful 2010 Senate bid and worked for then-House Republican Whip Eric Cantor in 2009 where he was named one of Politico’s “50 Politicos to Watch.” Previously he was Director of Rapid Response for Gov. Mitt Romney’s 2007 presidential primary campaign and later served in the same capacity for Sen. John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign. Pounder is also a veteran of the George W. Bush Administration, where he was Deputy Associate Director of the White House Office of Communications.
